  1. St. Elizabeth's Church in Marburg is a fine example of medieval and almost pure Gothic construction. Even without the tombs of the Hindenburg's,, it's one of the few examples of a monumental 13th century church in Germany that survived the war intact. The church and nearby Marburger Schloss castle shouldn't be missed of you're a fan of medieval structures.
