  5.  @americanmambi  No one has a duty to intervene in that kind of situation. Doing so or not is your own moral decision, and you can't be charged with anything if you choose not to. However, you can land in a world of hurt if you do decide to intervene and it turns into a deadly force incident. You could face criminal charges and civil suits that could cost you everything you own or will ever own. I'm not saying what to do or not to do, but you should understand the ramifications before you charge in.

  6.  @plushprince1020  Okay, can you name me one state with a law requiring citizens to intervene in any kind of situation where another party may require aid? Most states haves so-called "Good Samaritan" laws that shield a person from civil liability for providing well meaning medical aid to another. They don't provide any protection from you being charged with a criminal violation. Those laws don't require you to help, and I'm quite certain there are no states with a law requiring you to render aid or penalizing you if you don't. Let me know if you find one.

  7.  @plushprince1020  Texas Transportation Code Ann. § 550.021 is specific to a driver involved in an accident causing injuries. "Rendering Aid" can be anything from calling 911 to actually transporting the injured party to a hospital, but that's up to the involved driver to decide. Even if you were a passerby, you are not required to render aid, and it certainly has no application to what was shown in this video. If you are going to make statements you assert to be true, it's a good idea to have something more than hot air backing it up.

Congressional rules aren't criminal and can't result in a felony, even if there was such a rule. Trump has denied ever mentioning the "nuke a hurricane" idea. During the life cycle of just a category 2 hurricane, the storm produces as much energy as 200 times the entire electrical energy produced on earth during the same period. It's the equivalent of 10,000 Hiroshima sized bombs, and this is just for an "average" hurricane. One the size of Dorian or Michael produces logarithmically more energy than a smaller hurricane. No, ya morons, mankind does not have even a fraction of the power needed to even disrupt a hurricane, let alone stop one.

  17. It's just more sword rattling. It's not the first time Iran has attacked targets in Saudi Arabia. The Saudis are more than capable of striking Iran if they so choose. I forgot to include the Saudis have at least 300 combat aircraft, including 87 of the most advanced F-15 Strike Eagles outside the US Air Force. The RSAF also has 20 refueling tankers so the F-15s can hit almost anywhere in Iran. They can make punishing aerial attacks against Iranian military targets without our help. That's why they own these advanced aircraft.

  20. All Jails I've seen have that kind of sink/toilet unit. It's so it's harder for and inmate to sit on it and break it off the wall and flood the cell. It also has the minimum number of parts that can be made into weapons by the inmates.

  34. Yes, people get the flu every year on cruise ships. Large crowds of people will commonly have some that hack and cough. Except for elderly people or those with other health problems, even those with a COVID-19 will recover after having a few crappy days of flu symptoms. This whole thing is getting completely out of hand.

Second, the people there were dying of pneumonic plague, one of the most deadly bacterial infections you can get. COVID-19 is a virus and many, many orders for magnitude less deadly. Thirdly, the bodies were being dug up, "turned" and then danced around with as part of their rather bizarre religious ritual before being reburied again. The fleas that transmit the infection can live for month on the body, even when loosely buried, as was the case here. Fourthly, what was happening in Madagascar has zero to do with the body of someone who died from COVID-19 transmitting the disease when it's properly stored under refrigeration. I can't believe I even had to waste time writing this. Whatever you do for fun, go back to doing it. Don't even kid yourself that you understand anything about medicine.

The RNA was found in the cabins of people who were confirmed to have the virus, in a few cases, for up to 17 days before the cabins were cleaned. Now, read it again, It was the RNA from the virus, not the virus itself. That still has nothing to do with bodies that were disinfected and then refrigerated. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here but you've wandered far afield from my initial comment. I was a respiratory therapist for fifteen years and cared for many patients with viral and bacterial respiratory infections. My first year was during the 1968 Hong Kong flu, a much more deadly virus than this one. We were also having to store bodies in refrigerated trucks, and no one on staff got the Hong Kong flu from a body. You'll note the very first sentence of the summary is "The widespread belief that corpses pose a major health risk is inaccurate". Just give it up. If one of them is to wear a mask, or even purple underwear and, if you refuse, you're trespassing. You can leave or submit to arrest. This woman then resisted arrest, making things even worse. She went there with the intention of creating a show of resistance. That's fine, but then you have to accept the consequences. Real resistance is to remove your money from the bank and let them know why. If everyone who disagreed with their policies did that it would be a lot more effective.
