@nkt1 I don't know. If there's a large enough market for 9 amps fuses, and they can be produced and sold for a profit, then you'd be able to find them. Socialism would be to require these fuses be made regardless of demand or profit because you want one or somehow feel that those in need of 9 amp fuses are entitled to them.

@Tegelane5 This concept seems to be a hard one for the hard left to understand. Of course, these same people believe the problem in the Soviet Union was the just weren't doing socialism right. We'd be a lot better at it this time.

@nkt1 No, but the idea there should be some kind of law to limit the types of tyres smacks a wee bit of socialism, eh?

@nkt1 So why bring up a product that has zero demand except as a strawman? Do you think the numbers and types of tyres available today are any less than in 1977? Any problem getting a tyre today, even for long obsolete cars, from a dealer or available online? I rather doubt it, so something obviously changed. There was a temporary shortage of certain types of tyres, but the gentleman from the tyre dealer's association said they could get them with enough notice. Doesn't seem like a big crisis.
