  1.  @mobilechikane8574  In 1973, when the UK entered in the EEC, the British auto industry was still the third largest in the world. In 2019, the British auto industry was the #13 after Thailand. With the exception of a few small companies, there no more British owned car companies. There are no British aircraft companies. Now, not all of this industrial decline wasn't due to the EEC/EU, but Britain certainly wasn't helped by them.
