  1. It has no feed ramp and no extractor. There's no way that a Ruger rotary mag will work reliably. My Ruger 10-22 will fire hundreds of rounds in a session, but that's because the rifle was built to handle the tricky feeding of the rotary mag. Without an extractor, the case won't get out of the way before another round tries to get in the chamber. I've seen the same thing with cheap aftermarket mags in the 10-22. The choice of magazine was the real downfall for this gun...well, in addition to all the other weird "features".
