  1. It's difficult to imagine that any military would want a rifle that was loaded with single cartridges when stripper clips were so well establish in major militaries. Certainly a nice sporterized appearing gun.

  2. Yeah, I have a Model 94. Maybe it's me, but I spend more time dropping rounds than I do loading them.

  3. Side loading and tube magazines had been around for at least 35 years in 1928. It wasn't a new feature.

  4. Most intermediate caliber rifles of the period used stripper clips and five round magazines. I can't imagine there would have been much of a question about that round performing in the same manner, It was just an obsolete loading method the Swiss used when most other countries had long abandoned it.
