France, a country which spent four years trying to find any kinds of weapons to fight against tyrannical occupiers, now wants to make sure it's as difficult as possible or impossible for citizens to get any kinds of weapons. The EU, an organization with a long history of fighting a guerilla war, is "helping" with the regulations. Makes sense to me.

The point I'm trying to make is an organization like the EU, which has no law enforcement or military experience, is providing all the mandatory umbrella firearms regulations to member states like France, and France has to find ways to comply with them. France should be making their own laws that take into account their experiences in WWII.
