  1. Having only telescopic sights make sense for a civilian hunting rifle. I don't know that it makes much sense for the security market. Most shots in that environment will be snap shots at fairly close range, an ideal situation for iron sights with maybe some tritium sights. A telescopic sight would be a liability in that circumstance.
