Minor slips? You asshole. I'm 75 years old, and he was lucky not to tumble backwards down those stairs. I had two falls last year that nearly killed me. This type of thing is a real issue in a 78 year old, especially since he didn't just stop after the first fall to regain his balance. He want ed to show everyone he was still a spry old guy, even though he's not. He resumed the charge to the top after the third fall, as if to say "I'm fine, it was that damn wind that did it". That's how you turn a minor fall into a major fall.

@TheRealInky Thanks. I had covid, congestive heart failure, and a small stroke, all this on top of my COPD. If that didn't kill me, I figure I still have a functioning immune system that will get me through most things. A bad fall will undo my progress pretty fast, so I'm careful to know where each foot is coming down and on what. That's what Joe didn't do, and why he fell three times. He's lucky that Kamala didn't get him...this time!

@Weekenday I hope she'll be okay. A fractured hip at 91 is a tough deal.

@cupcake_whale Thanks. So far, so good. I hiked rim to rim across the Grand Canyon at 55 and to Everest Base Camp at 60 so maybe all that ahs helped me now.
