  1. I've gotten to interact with the Amish in Elkhart and surrounding areas and they're good happy people, despite the hard work. Some of the Amish are mean to their horses though, and that's a fact. I know of too many examples and from what my family and others that I know have witnessed. So they have their own issues.

  2. What happens if you literally spend all your time alone, but you don't feel lonely? Perhaps that's an even worse problem because it keeps you there. But these folks can't always assume that everyone's family is supportive. That's good reason some folks choose to stay solo.
