  3. Probably because Americans have a lot of their own freaking problems. Hard to give a crap when you're struggling to put food on your families tables and keep the roof over your head. It doesn't help when the people in charge are completely incompetent and are running your country into the ground.

  5. The irony here is that the government isn't doing the censoring. It's we the people censoring ourselves. Rather than stand on the principle of free speech we're cowering once again because we can't handle what's being said nor the reaction. This is ashame on us not the government this time.
