I'm gonna push back on this because there are several countries where the students have a teacher's contact information grant it, it's not any type of personal phone number or private email. But it is not foreign for students to have some type of way of contacting their teacher in a professional manner with regards to their studies. Usually it's high school age students but I've experienced times where a middle school student will make contact with their teachers for education reasons only.

@lorimars0 "Grooming is grooming" So you're saying you never hugged any of your teachers, never shook their hand, never had a deep conversations about struggles you were facing on a hard day? I could go on with examples. Braiding your teachers hair in class is not grooming.

@D-Fens_1632 I talked about tv shows, my friends with my teachers and none of them were in any way inappropriate with me when discussing topics that weren't strictly about school. This precedent you want is unachievable and a bit ridiculous
