It’s reasonable that a person living in the 20th century would have chosen to live a life of debauchery, full of drinking, smoking, junk food, parties, and all matters of indulgences. For part of the century, most people didn’t know the risks with each of these and continued even when they did, knowing that their life would be shortened by decades. Until now, though, there has never been evidence suggesting that one could radically extend both their lifespan and healthspan. So why not live fast and die young? In the 21st Century, that's no longer reasonable or wise to bet against radical life extension happening in your lifetime. It is coming. And it will change everything.
