  1. ABSOLUTELY agree. I've built custom decks in this neighborhood. Its beautiful. The lawns are perfect. The homes are great. The exact pic off a post card. Washington does have a hold your ground law. I was charged months back while pulling my weapon on an individual who approached my vehicle and making contact with it. Twice I might add. I pulled my weapon and then at individual called 911. I was charged. Not arrested. No projectiles were released. Although I was made to defend my actions. All charges were later dropped. The irony here is that the individual who I believed was encroaching on my space in a hostile manner called the police and I had to defend my actions. On the other hand.. the police allowed me to be free and stay out of jail. This was all in Portortge Washington. The point of this is that the DA took the side of the caller/perpetrator on his words. It did help that I had relinquished my (BURNA SD) WEPON... ie.... A bright orange pepper ball gun... The City made the dropping of charges contingent on one thing.... That I concede (500$) gun. That's what the most irritating. The city (woman) prosecutor put in the conditions that i forfeit my gun. All said... And 3 appearances and time off work and cost of my weapon. Is all this REALLY FAIR AND LEGAL IN THE END? I still consider the idea of having gome to trial. Even though the law was on my side... as far as written law... Those who bear arms still need to protect themselves in the "COURT OF LAW" All the while the "Employees of the state" can bring charges based on unsubstantiated allegations..
