  1. I'm a creative person who uses AI to create voice acting and artwork for my stories. I can draw, but not good enough that I'd want to show people my work. The only people really complaining about this are the hack artists who were never good to begin with. If an AI can do your job in seconds, for free, then you were always replaceable to begin with. The only difference with AI is, it works faster and cheaper than human artists who could also replace such bad artists whining about AI "takin' 'der jerbs!"

  2. I think the photo probably won the award because of the implied lesbian couple and "stunning and brave LGBTQ representation" going on in the late 19th or early 20th century. In other words, they probably liked "the message" more than the actual photography.
