  6. The funny thing is, The Simpsons already did this episode when Homer gets elected as Sanitation Commissioner, then proceeds to destroy the town in waste. How bad must Ronnie Burge have been in order to lose with only 18% of the votes?

  7. How is it frustrating? This is literally what most politicians do, Americans or otherwise. The only difference with her is how loud and obnoxious she is about it. Most of them at least pretend to not be hyper-corrupt so they can get re-elected.

  9. The fact someone this blatantly corrupt could even get elected with 82% of the vote proves that town is getting exactly what they voted for, so I don't feel THAT bad for them.

  11. @nl1927 Apparently there was a recall to get her out of office and she paid off the judge to reject it. Ironically, the one thing she is competent in, is corruption and knowing who to pay off.

  12. @CJAG777 You've apparently never been outside of America if you think this is "Only in America." Take a look at China, Venezuela, Bulgaria, and Belarus for just four equally corrupt governments, and those are the ones that even pretend to be democratic, as much of the world isn't. MOST of the world's politicians are like this, bro.

  13. There was apparently a recall election and she got the judge to throw it out. She's at the very least competent at corruption and bribery.
