I would say, this could just incentivize someone competent and genuinely good to become mayor, with no temptation of money/corruption hanging over their head with the ordinance, but it's Illinois. @Danafondo True. I'd say 80% of all politicians are corrupt, but she's such a retard, she can't even hide her corruption. Or maybe she thought she'd get away with it, considering it's Illinois and the people were stupid enough to vote her in, in the first place. If they're that dumb to vote her in, I kinda don't blame her for what she's doing. It's not like she's even been investigated before now. The only reasons he even IS going to be investigated, is so everyone else doing the same shady crap won't be thrown under the bus with her. She's getting Harvey Weinstein'ed.

@TheVagolfer To be fair, she's still more articulate than Joe Biden, more intelligent than AOC, less corrupt than Gavin Newsome, and less evil than Kamala Harris. The entry level to politics is even lower than the integrity required for the job. It's not even an American thing; politicians are pretty much scumbags globally.
