  1. It's not literally no president. Biden is still in office, and doing the same thing he's been doing for the past four years: sleeping 18 hours a day, eating ice cream, pooping his pants, and shaking hands with the wind. They just don't have to puppeteer him around anymore.

I watched a recent mini documentary by WhatIfAltist that basically said the left embraces extremism because individually, they're weak and effeminate, and only collectively can they feel what they believe is power. Centrist and right-wing people are way more masculine, or at least working class, so they're not so insecure to believe in mob justice like the left does and tend to have inner strength more often. This is also why they embrace extremism despite claiming to be tolerant; because like with any cult or extreme ideology, "the ends always justify the means."
