  1. I'm 38 and I'm short and I know for sure it's the reason why I'm likely never going to have a woman/be in a committed relationship. Not because I don't think I can be a good partner, but because I'm simply not what any women want. Also, I'm not a simp or one of those paypig men who get used and abused by single mothers and women over 35, so me having too much self-respect, is the other issue. So my only advice for men out there is: No matter what you do, no matter what path you take in life, just make sure you enjoy it and try to have fun. Even if you're dealing with crippling loneliness, like I often have, just try to have a good time, anyway. Life is too short to be upset you're not living your dream life here and now. If working part time so you can play more video games and make music is what will bring you more happiness, even if a wife and kids will never be in your future, then do that. Men could benefit from being a little more selfish in society and women could benefit from being less selfish.

  4. @Joeyppeterscorp I'm 38. I remember when I was in that phase. My best advice to you, man: Live selfishly. Enjoy life no matter what. The biggest problem modern men face is that we're told we have to be selfless and work slaves for society while women get to be the opposite. Just do you and your mental health will improve drastically. I also live by one simple rule: "Don't be stupid or an asshole. If you're either one of those, I'm not going to waste my time on you." And that's like 90-95% of people.

  7.  @MrAngryCucaracha  I did that for years. Exercise (daily cardio in the gym) caused me to be more depressed because it fcking sucks. I also did volunteer work for animal shelters and mentally ill people. It didn't change my outlook one way or the other. Lastly, everything you suggested is mostly for rich or financially successful people, especially the regular exercise and volunteer shit. 95% of people don't have the time, mor drive, for that.
