@kentonkruger8333 Yeah, just look at Drake. Black Canadians almost wish they could have grown up dirt poor in Detroit, instead of upper middle class in Toronto.

@mesasavage It was more like 20. 15 of them are mixed-race like Drake, so "not black enough" by DEI standards.

It's extra cringe that it's Canadian, considering you know, Canada almost never had black slaves or segregation or anything like that, meaning there was even less oppression of black people in Canada than there was in America, which makes something like this show even more try-hard and woke, cause there's very little (if any) history in Canada to justify any of this. At the very least, they could've set it in a US city like Chicago or Detroit (which is right on the damn border, no less!), so it doesn't come off extra-pathetic.
