Maybe if the director and star of the movie weren't shitting on the fanbase with that "Batman's a fascist" comment, and maybe if James Gunn didn't already announce they were resetting the DC Universe much earlier this year making everything from Shazam 2 to Aquaman 2 irrelevant, and maybe if they actually appealed to everyone and were actually positive in their marketing instead of doing the woke "Hispanic representation" shit that only alienates and excludes everyone else at this point, this movie might've done much better than it did, considering it had NO actual competition this weekend. But, they shot themselves in the foot with all the piss-poor marketing.
