  166. You act as if birth defects, deformities, skin conditions like vitaligo, or amputees, are any more attractive than obese women. It's all unattractive to the majority of straight men and trying to force, compel, or shame men into "what's considered attractive" is a bad move, no matter what. ...Even though that's why skinny women are seen as attractive in the modern day and Rubenesque women were seen as attractive hundreds of years ago, because "health" may be a factor in physical attraction, but you can rarely tell one's health by their looks; it has more to do with socioeconomic status and class more than anything. Fatness used to be a sign of wealth hundreds of years ago; nowadays being fit and skinny is a sign of wealth, while being overweight is a sign of being working class/poor. So really, the whole "being thin is a sign of good health, that's why it's sexy" take is complete bullshit too, the "Body Positivity movement did the same thing, in the inverse, saying "being 300+ pounds as a 5'3 woman is a sign of health cause it means you're not anorexic." Both sides are wrong, and beauty standards are determined by the socionomic health standards at the time. Which is why it's usually ONLY upper middle class and wealthy men attracted to skinny women. Working class, black, and Hispanic men are attracted to thicker women for the same 'health/class' reasons. TL;DR: How wealthy you grew up and where you lived, determines physical attraction, not the fashion industry or any body positivity movements. Sorry for writing a whole book here.

  237.  @bandgeekforlife406  I used to be subbed to all four of these women, plus a few others like Melonie Mac. I know all about them. Brett is the worst out of all of them, cause she acts "conservative" but still wants to be a part of Hollywood as an A-list actress, still supported the Barbie movie, spends more time online than anyone (as her literal job) and is all about money and fame. Watson is the typical "say one thing when it benefits me, say another when it doesn't" type and was very quick to throw all men under the bus when she could get a quick payday out of it. Lauren Chen isn't too bad, but still would rather be a working career woman than a supportive housewife or mother (not that I'm judging her lifestyle choices, but the fact she claims she's "conservative" but it very clearly trying to be a modern girl-boss.) And I agree with the other commenter that there's more, like Candace Owens, Pearl Davis, and most female "dating coaches" and reaction channels. I wouldn't even care if their whole brand wasn't selling themselves as one thing, then acting the total opposite all the time; especially the case with Melonie Mac, who's a proud online troll who gets her kicks out of starting Twitter drama, but acts like she's Holier Than Thou because she reads the Bible every night. Female nature is female nature, and few women under 40 these are going to walk away from fame and very easy money just to be a housewife. I don't care about their choices in life, so much for the fact they're straight-up grifters.

  262. Literally only one type of person has been defending this awful, awful season of television. The same type of people who support Vaush and Hassan Piker, think Joe Biden is "doing a great job as president," and always go "Why do you call everything woke?" after watching crap like THIS. And Drinker's comments section on this one video are filled with these types of people, making stupid arguments defending this propaganda pile of crap. Well, I've watched five episodes of this season, and the first four episodes are so blatantly hate-filled with their "Orange Man Supporters Bad" message, that Homelander might as well have punched The Message into you. The Frenchie subplot where he suddenly decides to abandon Kimiko to become a gay DEI checkbox was horrible in every single way and people trying to use the more PC term for gay, "bi," is the best defense they have (they're the same exact thing; he sleeps with men; that's literally gay!) That DEI pandering storyline they forced in there because their previous lesbian, Queen Maeve, left the show, is so on-the-nose with forced representation, it's even worse than the mean-spirited attacks on the right that went from being light jabs here and there to literally the entire plot of the show now. (And no, they never "made fun of both sides" when the best they used to mock the left over, was ironically corporate mandated DEI, as was the case of Vought exploiting Maeve and A-Train's identity, even though Amazon is literally now doing that on-camera with The Frenchie being a gay Pander Stone.) I'm not even defending Drinker's video as much as his detractors have the flimsiest excuses in the world. "How can you know something that looks bad and is filled with propaganda in its trailers and bad word-of-mouth is actually bad? You have to financially support it first before you're allowed to say whether you'd like it or not! Reeee!" Had he watched every single episode of season four, what exactly would be different about his video? The defenders of this show are the same exact type of men like Todd, except they're more accurate being leftist soyboys, as opposed to a right-leaning Homelander soyboy. I've not seen a single masculine man or non-feminist defend this season.

  279.  @bubbanstix2536  Nah. I'm ugly myself (and short, and overweight, and not a millionaire, and dark-skinned in a non-Western country that hates dark-skinned men) and I grew up in a city of overweight hideous people where 95% of the population were ugly (Philadelphia, if you must know) and nothing changes. Women are still the ones being pursued, men are still the ones doing the pursuing. Women are still going to have inflated egos if given that leverage in the dating market, even if they're ugly. This is ALSO why you see ugly women on social media all the time, calling themselves "queens," "goddesses," "girl-bosses," and such, even though they have ten kids from ten different fathers and work at Burger King in their late 30s. There can be good-hearted people who are physically attractive looking or physically unattractive. But because society treats attractive people well (The Halo Effect,) there tends to be less good-hearted attractive people out there; cause why do they need to be a good person when they have an army of simps? On the other end, there can be good--hearted people who are physically unattractive, but because society treats them badly for their looks, they tend to more likely to be bitter, jaded, and angry at life. TL;DR Version: Most people are assholes, regardless of looks. They're just that way for different reasons. There's your life lesson and why you shouldn't feel bad for undesirable women. They still want Chad and have more leverage to get him than you do in getting Plain Jane.

  456. "How is Seoul killing Korea? Since Seoul is the capital of Korea, it is the first and fastest place where all infrastructure is built and concentrated. Seoul's old university became a prestigious university, and Seoul's old hospital became the best hospital. The airport with the most routes is in Incheon, near Seoul. That's it. Think simply. Korea's land area is smaller than a state in the United States or Canada. Seoul is not the only large city in Korea. Busan, Incheon, Gwangju, Daejeon, etc. In Korea, government-related business can be processed via the Internet, and there are financial branches and government offices throughout the country, so you will not suffer any damage or inconvenience just because you do not live in Seoul. I live in a city outside of Seoul, but Seoul is a place I can easily get to in a short time by bus, subway, or train if I want to. In particular, the production areas of large Korean companies are evenly distributed throughout the provinces. The only headquarters that handles office work and administration is located in Seoul. This would be a problem if Korea were a large continent, but since it has a small area and most areas have infrastructure, it is not a big problem. Korea currently has a variety of problems that need to be resolved, but it is not a country where people die due to gun violence, drug addicts are neglected in certain cities, there are extremely poor areas, or patients die due to lack of treatment. Also, although there are enough jobs in the provinces, there are some people who want to go to Seoul, but Seoul is where their hearts want to be, not because there are no jobs. The growth of a country that suffered from extreme poverty 70 years ago cannot be perfect. For some it may be the most comfortable and pleasant place to live, but for others it may not be."

  510. I once went to a Halloween speed dating event in 2019 with just me and three other guys, and twenty women. One guy was tall (6'5"), around the same age as me, and extremely nervous and had severe autism. The other three of us were short guys (I'm 5'11", the other two men were 5'9".) I'm far from good looking; maybe a 6/10, but the other two guys were a 5/10, and the Autistic guy a 4/10 with messy unkempt hair and clothes. The autistic guy couldn't even hold a conversation and seemed to have severe social issues and might have been home-schooled in addition to being heavily autistic. I love real human conversations and felt I had a lot of interesting things to say to each girl, trying to get to know them the best I could in three minutes. One of the other guys was a divorced dad with dad jokes, and the fourth guy was kind of self-absorbed and only talked about himself. At the end of the speed dating, what do you think happened? The 6'5" autistic guy who couldn't hold a conversation got 15 of the 20 women interested in him, while me and the other two men got no Yes votes at all. The autistic guy was only interested in 3 woman, and none of them chose him out of the 15 who did. Literally no one got a date in a room where there were five times as many women as men. This is why I don't feel sorry for any single women out there; they would rather choose a tall guy with messy hair and no social skills or stay alone forever, then lower their standards in a single category, like height. You can say I "dodged a bullet" there, but given the diversity of the women at this event, I'd say this mentality reflects women as a whole. So I don't want to hear anything else about single women complaining about being single ever again.

  936. The sound work could be much better, as the music is often too loud compared to the dialogue. One issue with the plot is that we're thrown right into an action scene in a parking lot before knowing who these people are, thus have no reason to care about who gets hurt or not. We don't know these people yet; why would we care if the chick fails her mission, or who the soft-spoken Russian is? A tighter pace would make this scene better, since we're not going to be invested in anyone right now, so you don't need to waste too much time on this one section. The beginning prison torture scene with Anya isn't needed. We can figure out what happened to Anya from the ending flashbacks and it'd better explain why she was on a sniper mission, so the opening scenes are redundant and ruin audience investment in her. Let her remain a little more mysterious if we're not going to get to know her name before the end. Currently, you show too much of her torture scenes, but it's not enough for us to care about her, so in this case, Less Is More. By the 13 minute mark, there's way too much dialogue and exposition dumps. It gets boring. Not every scene needs to be action, but if something isn't moving the plot along, audiences will get bored easily. In other words, way too many talking scenes! The main extraction scene is fine, but some tighter editing could've been used, and far less cliché one-liners. Just cut those out. The bad guy also talks too damn much. Overall, I'd say this was a B- effort. Not too bad, but a slow start and very boring for the first 15 minutes. The cinematography is excellent and the acting is good from most, except the bad guy. The characters are mostly fine, except for Kiera, who's excessive cursing is annoying. I wanted to know more about Anya as she seemed like the most engaging character, but if we're not going to get flashback dialogue of her to get to know her like with Ryan and Kiera's scenes, the next best thing is to just let he be mysterious. The audio mixing is terrible in this and too many scenes had the music drowning out the dialogue completely especially that climax scene where you could barely hear the bad guy speak. Some tighter editing, better pacing for the first act, and improved audio mixing would make this a much better piece overall, but the end had me hooked better than the first half. A decent effort.
