  1. I do hope this aircraft can do the job of the Nimrod and better I and many others lost their aircraft jobs in the UK when the Nimrod was cancelled it was the last fixed wing aircraft job I had in the UK ! :(

  2. Airbus are working on an aircraft to same as this but it's still in development the UK build the wings and engines for Airbus and some other smaller parts. The Airbus one is called A319 MPA.

  8.  @adamjacob5369  Good idea but im too old now and I left the Army with 63 Sqn because of a problem with my right eye meaning I can not use the SA80 which can only be fired right handed. I have been asked three times to return before the last time was to work on the AH64 as AAC ground crew but this went nowhere due to my eye problem ! :( The other month I was turned down for an MOD job as I lived 30 miles from the work and they said I was too far away ! I am waiting on another MOD job at another place which I should find out about in two weeks or so ?? If not I still don't know what I am going to do ?? I was laid off on New Years Eve with others only a few hours before my night shift by Sainsburys as they reckon they made no money over Christmas ! Thank you.

  14.  @1chish  I looked it up The Falklands is 4,000 miles from Ascension Island and the range of this aircraft is 4,500 miles so yes it can get there as long as it's not needed to do much on the way there ?? Thank you.
