  2. ​ @revo1974  The hatred and fear of Soviet communism made the crypto-fascist plutocrats of the USA make a faustian bargain with the communists of China: you give up communism and ally with us against the Russians and we'll make you rich. Together we'll bring down communism and the USA will be number one for ever and you'll be number two. The Chinese agreed and the plutocrats took them at their word. But the Chinese lied. And here we are: a rich and successful China that's still communist (or crypto-fascist with Chinese characteristics, aka capitalist if you prefer.) You only have yourselves blame.
