So it looks like China is the engine of world poverty reduction both at home and in the wider world. Just think about that for a moment: a single country responsible for a full 66% in the reduction of poverty.

Fascism and communism are diametrically opposed political systems even though they may have certain things in common, as does with capitalism also. You're also judging socialism/communism by the perceived failures – some real but many simply imputed – of the Stalin-Brezhnev and Mao eras while ignoring the successes and forgetting that capitalism also has had more than its fair share of such failures (the era of Thatcher and Reagan) you are doing socialism a disservice. We can learn from previous mistakes as well as creating different and better forms of socialism that are better able to meet the needs of modernity.

@quolpmu1232 And don't you think that a large part of that trade is with and by China? Yes, a large volume of trade goes through that region but most of it is between Asian countries themselves rather than anyone else. So what makes your think that China would want to disrupt is own trade links with the rest of Asia? Your reasoning is incorrect.
