  2. Neither in world war 1 or world war 2, nor during the civil war, did democracy in any way, shape or form interfere with the warmongers prosecution of their wars. It didn't then and wouldn't now. The popular will doesn't matter: consent – manufactured or otherwise – can easily be faked as well as being disregarded. Rulers rule and the rest suffer what they must.

Israel started this war by ethnically cleansing, persecuting and genociding the Palestinians beginning in 1948. Your accusations that the Palestinians caused this latest bout of anti-Semitic ethnocide against them by the Israeli apartheid state (just one of many) is like blaming the native American Geronimo of causing the war with the government of the United States after two hundred years of genocide. ~ Even if Hamas did strike first they are still in the right because the Israelis are the ones occupying Palestinian land and using disproportionate use of force, not vice versa. Also, we have to take into account that, like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas may be considered controlled opposition involved in a possible false flag and that, even if not, Israel goes out of its way to constantly provoke the Palestinians and goad the Palestinian resistance into attacking so that they can they use it as justification for their ongoing ethnocide.

Could not wanting a nuclear war in which hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of white, Anglo-Saxon Protestant Americans die and the USA becomes extensively depopulated, de-industrialised, politically divided and vulnerable to being conquered by Mexico and repopulated by darker skinned Latin Americans be the answer?
