  2. Dude, don't you think that there more pressing reasons for Russia's president to invade Ukraine than him being simply mad or stupid? I mean, NATO was about to get right up to Russia's borders and faced with such an intolerable provocation what was he to do? Putin's decisions I'm sure were motivated much more by sound geopolitical reasoning and the strategic implications of the USA potentially placing nuclear weapons 5 minutes flight time from Moscow than some desire to go down in history as the president who took back Ukraine. As a Russian you should know full well the history of your country and the invasions it has suffered in the last 2 centuries, as well as the unremitting hostility that the West, and the USA in particular, have directed against Russia throughout the 20th century culminating in the ruinous years of Yeltsin and Gorbachev. Anyway, I wish you all the best in your new life and hope you will one day return or visit to Russia. Putin will not be in power forever and the war between Ukraine and Russia will soon be over judging by the likes of things. Try not to let present conditions skew your judgement too negatively.
