Because no one really cares and no one is in a position to change things. Also, it allows them to show how freedom loving they are such that the same people that criticise them will be the same people to take up arms against the likes of Hitler or Stalin should there 'freedoms' to criticise be threatened.

@Savagetechie But corporations are their constituents!

Fascism is capitalism in a crisis; it's when capitalists can't get all their own way and is usually caused by one or other of the crises inherently engendered by it – cyclical recession and depression, constant class warfare at home and abroad, severe inequality, declining rates of profit, ecological damage and competition from rivals, etc.

And capitalism is dystopia?

You forgot to put the word radical in quotation marks: "radical". 😉

@eomguel9017 Un-British. Heard Rishi Sunak lately? He came as close to calling anti-genocide/pro-Palestine protesters un-British as you can get. Which is weird seens as he's considered by many British as basically being a foreigner.

@blumpus8150 Or being attacked from the very beginning by capitalists who even created a new ideology and political-economy – fascism – specifically to combat it; an ideology that killed, and continues to kill, millions.

Or more precisely, will it descend into monarchy or a 1 party state? Or will part of the USA dissolve like the western Roman empire while the other part survives for another thousand years like the eastern Roman empire (Byzantium)? Maybe barbarians (Latinos, Mexicans) will conquer it like the Vandals and Visigoths did Rome.

Capitalism is just feudalism updated, just as feudalism was Graeco-Roman slave-based economies updated.

Capitalism wants profit. And only profit. Nothing more.

Non sequitur. Suffering is tyranny.

@msjademarvel1542 Or any of the other paraphilias (to use a term coined by psychiatrists to control people à la Foucault) natural too, or is it only the currently politically correct ones approved by the state?

The idea that in a genuinely laissez-faire system companies would just be allowed to go bust would not necessarily be true. Other companies – banks, for instance – would be quite happy to help, and larger companies wishing to expand by going into partnership with them, making them subsidiaries or affiliates.

You're in a dilemma, damned if you do and damned if you don't. And that's just the way the system likes it.

The alphabet soup of intelligence agencies, the corporate monopolies of the media, church and school and, ultimately, those millions of serfs who know no other way of life, think that it is the natural order of things and who are frightened by and will not benefit from real change. Also, in a globalised world, other capitalists intervening to stop it. The Chinese and Russians, for instance, would (ironically given their history) be the ones to oppose the USA if it ever became the new epicentre of a communist revival.

"[...] we didn't concede an inch more than we had to. " In other words you conceded. 7% is negligible. And probably the only reason that that 7% isn't in foreign hands is because its unprofitable or is owned by the Romanian elite who want it to generate profits for themselves. You're still hard right capitalist, still in the neo-liberal institution known as the European Union and still have a bank controlled by western finance capital, with a political and economic system that was created by the West to serve the interests of Romania's compradors class installed after the fall of the Soviet Union and western investors.

1. Italics: use underscores _ ( italics ). 2. Bold: use asterisks * ( bold ). 3. Strikethough: use dashes - ( strikethrough ). Place them before and after the word or phrase. Tip: place the full stop at the end of a sentence BEFORE the underscore/asterisk/dash (abc.*) and NOT after (abc*.).
