@obsidianjane4413 And that's exactly why some people are suggesting they should be sent to Ukraine (an act of war if you ask my opinion). They want to get rid of obsolete stock and probably make the USA happy by buying more weapons from the them. It's certainly not about helping the Ukrainians in any meaningful way because if they wanted that they could just encourage them to sit down and negotiate à la Minsk 1 & 2.

@obsidianjane4413 The Minsk Agreements were signed and ratified by the government of Ukraine, Germany and France servings as guarantors I do believe. But they were never implemented even though they gave Kyiv a way out and would have allowed it to keep the Donbass as an autonomous administrative region within Ukraine. As I'm of the firm belief that Zilensky is not in charge and never was I have come to the conclusion that the real reason for a rejection of those agreements lies in geostrategic imperatives originating in Washington and not Kiev.

Will the Germans be shutting down their tank factories and buying American tanks instead?

@JC-XL In other words, a 'slush fund'. I wonder if they are going to use that money to buy US weapons and thereby cheat even their own countries.
