  1. As part of an agreement between the British and the Americans agreed at Yalta I do believe. The Americans wanted the Russians to invade China. Strangely, having agreed to such a deal they then firebombed the German city of Dresden and dropped two atomic bombs on Japan at least in part to deter and intimidate the Russians.

This is a lie continually repeated by NATO propaganda to blacken, not just the rule of Joseph Stalin, but of communism and socialism more generally. Originally a lie created by the National Socialist government of Germany incidentally as propaganda and then taken up by the empire of the United States and its European client states, not least Great Britain.

  21.  @Fr00stee  Don't you know that the rest of the Soviet Union was also effected and that Ukraine was a part of the Soviet Union and not a separate country and that certain parts of Russia were effected even more badly? Why would the government of the Soviet Union deliberately starve its people anyway, Russians and Ukrainians being virtually one and the same people?

  22. The West in its hubris likes to think itself as the whole world and everyone else is insignificant. Another thing is that western history books seem to imply that countries like China, Korea and Japan refusing to trade with the West was somehow bad and therefore it was only right that they should be opened to trade by force, as much for their own good as anyone else's. And little seems to have changed since then.
