Yes for now, but unlike the British and Poles the Japanese are ready to go over to the other side at the drop of a hat when the time comes, after all they are an Asian country at the end of the day alongside Russia (Eurasian), India and China and supporting a country located in the western hemisphere of the Americas against the major countries in their own eastern hemisphere of Asia is not in their long term interests.

  7. I've heard 500,000 Ukrainian men have died in this war. 500,000! Think about that for a minute. That's a world war 1 level of fatalities. Now imagine that for women. After the Great War there was a shortage of men, but at least there were women to reproduce the next generation. But if women suffer this casualty rate in addition to the men then the demographic effects would be devastating.
