  4. The Russian Federation is fighting a war more akin to a civil war and doesn't want to destroy too much infrastructure or inflict excessive civilian casualties as I assume it intends to reintegrate these regions and their people when it's done.

If only the Germans had continued to attack military targets, especially airfields, instead of wasting resources attacking cities they could very possibly have degraded the British airforce to the point where the German airforce would have had air superiority, making an invasion much more viable.

  8. So you're saying that there's no way that the USA will allow China to 'take back' an island that it already recognises as belonging to China? What you're saying doesn't make sense. Are you suggesting that the USA can just all of a sudden unilaterally decide that the island of Taiwan is no longer Chinese territory having first acknowledged that it is?
