A country whose government has been put there by a coup d'état orchestrated by a foreign country, that gives away its most valuable assets to foreign governments, locks up and intimidates the opposition, bans political parties and purges its civil society of anyone who disagrees (including a sizable part of its own population) is not an example of democracy. Besides that, you should stop fetishizing democracy as if its something to kill and die for, especially as your social and economic system, capitalism/corporatism, is fundamentally incompatible with any notion of genuine popular self‐government (if there was any semblance of the electorate having real agency we would not be in the predicament we are in because it would be against the interests of the majority. The fact that the government can work against the economic interests and material wellbeing of the majority of its citizens gives the lie to such nonsense).

  23.  @milkhit2714  China and Russia are, even as we speak, joining forces with what white westerners like to disparaging call the 'global South' in creating a pan-eurasian bloc that will eventually include India, the Middle East (where a good deal of the West's energy resources come from) and the Americas. When that happens it will be western Europe and North America versus the rest of the world. Spoiler: the rest of the world has most of the resources.

  24. He's probably lying. Or at least misinformed. From the reports I've seen elsewhere on YouTube there was no real fighting because the Russians came to an agreement with the Ukrainians not to fight each other but for the Ukrainians and Russians to jointly keep the nuclear reactor safe. Any fighting that did take place would have been by paramilitaries doing some sort of a provocation for propaganda purposes or to steal nuclear material. I mean, why would anyone in their right might attack a nuclear power station. The Russians certainly don't want to damage the power station because it's a critical part of the energy infrastructure that they are at pains to avoid destroying. And I can't see the Ukrainian regular military personnel charged with guarding it doing it themselves.

Probably a false flag by some secret NATO unit engaging in psychological and propaganda operations with plausible deniability deliberately designed to initially incriminate the Russians whilst allowing a fallback position of incriminating the Ukrainians (presumably blaming it on neo‐Nazis or some such) when it's discovered that it's Ukrainian technology.
