In so far as many of the comments are so repetitive in their reference to a supposed Jewish conspiracy ruling the world and influencing events, one strongly suspects that this video has attracted a large number of the right-wing and its fringe. Either that or their is some kind is trolling at work.

Agree. Same with the French as well. Indeed, the former empires of the West simply went from imperialism into neo-imperialism; from colonialism to neo-colonialism. Just the same wine in a different bottle.

@johnd6389 rent-seeking (rentierism) is the problem. The real economy of manufacturing has been crowded out by the phantom economy that is the service sector (FIRE — finance, insurance and real estate). And it's all been propped up by 'free' money issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of America and the interest on the loans that banks have given to their customers knowing full well that they cannot pay back those loans (especially mortgages) and that the loans to big business aren't being invested where they should be (in the real economy) but in bonds and stock (buy‐backs).

@davidprimeau3368 Algorithms are what primarily drive the stock market. Algorithms and other underhand practices And who creates those algorithms, you may ask. Certain western governments working in collusion on behalf of the super rich (who will keep the ponzi scheme going for as long as possible).
