  1.  @sophiazhu8656  Democracy? Studies have shown that most of (all of?) what is called the West doesn't have democracy, but an aristocratic/plutocratic oligarchy, where the electorate have virtually no effect on public or foreign policy (they only think they do).

  2.  @joshbeck9761  The western media can't seem to make up it's mind about that issue though. Is China communist, capitalist, state capitalist, or state communist? On the one hand the peoples of countries like the United States want to portray the Chinese as out-and-out (state) capitalists as a way of showing that communism is a complete failure and what they call American/western liberal capitalism is thereby vindicated. Yet, on the the other hand, when they need a bogey man to secure funding for their bloated military-industrial-political complex they revert to calling them communist again. So what is it - are the Chinese communist, capitalist, or a peculiar and (so far) unique hybrid of the two… and does it really matter? It cannot be denied that the Chinese economic and political system, for all its faults, is successful and shows no sign of being less successful for the foreseeable future, despite the gainsayers of the West.

  4. China needs to flood Hong Kong with Chinese from the mainland, like it did with Tibet. That way it can be properly sinified and foreign influences diluted.

  5. Have you ever heard of the NSA, CIA? Five Eyes, Echelon? Do you think the USA just restricts itself to military espionage and does not do industrial espionage as well? Think again! The USA is, along with China and Russia, the biggest thief of technology and info on the planet.
