  1. The USA and Great Britain both need to get rid of the rentier capitalism they now have and return to the manufacturing-based capitalism that made them wealthy in the first place. An economy based around manufacturing, especially one that prioritises the home market over exports, would create real rather than fictitious wealth, far greater levels of employment, and if successful allow eventually for greater self-sufficiency and economic independence.

There is nothing in the notion of multipolarity that doesn't allow for the USA to still remain one of the top two or three countries and continue pretty much as it is now, especially in its traditional domain of Latin America. All multipolarity would do is create two or three similar centres of power that are as much likely – more likely in fact ‐ to maintain the capitalist/corporatist status quo than change it, despite their differences.
