  1. It's been turned into the British equivalent of the Democrat Party of the USA. It's been 'liberalised' – and not in a good way. There was a reason the Liberal Party never won another general election after 1914(?) and that was because it didn't and never did represent the interests of the working class. The Labour Party has become another Liberal Party (Liberal Democrat) and we don't need two such parties as one is more than enough.

  3. If you are paid more you can pay more. This is especially so if there is progressive taxation whereby the rich pay their fair share.
