@erinoldcoot3381 Don't blame yourself, because that's what they want you to believe, that it's your fault and ONLY your fault. NO IT'S NOT! It's mostly the fault of the system: capitalism is built on inequality; it's baked into the system. It needs reform, at least to ameliorate its excesses.

Sorry to hear of your sad story Graham. You came out of it as a survivor. As a hardworking American whose fate was effected unfairly by corrupt politicians in a corrupt system, I'm glad you came out of the tunnel stronger, saw through the bullshit and are now working as a activist for change.
