  1. juandenz2008, for anyone wishing to get a relatively dispassionate look into Japanese society, a book that came out in the 1980's called The Enigma of Japanese Power by a man called, if I remember correctly, Karel Van Wolferen, is a great introduction on certain aspects of that country's culture.
