@phuckpootube6231 The Chinese set the exchange rate of their currency vis‐a‐vis the dollar often with the tacit understanding of the USA.

This is all for show... P.R., optics.
2
It is a work of fiction.
2
Isn't that what the USA used in Iraq?
2
They are not. Simple as. The title is clickbait and misleading. Propaganda basically.

For a capitalist, investing in new forms of energy is not as worthwhile as investing in known forms of energy. Also, the amounts of funding necessary for the relevant R & D are way too much for the private sector. And then there's the vested interests of the already established corporations who, contrary to what we hear about capitalism, don't like competition.

@thalentekhuluse2829 But the world is de-dollarizing fast. The group of countries known as the BRICS (and the G20) are beginning to conduct bilateral trade using their own currencies and thereby removing any need to use the dollar of the United States in trade between themselves. From there it's only one short step to using a single currency (or basket of currencies) for global trade and sidestep the dollar entirely. The USA is living beyond its means and on borrowed time; its day off reckoning is not far off.

The simple answer: you can't. The not‐so‐simple answer: with sophistry you can. Just look at organised religion of what sophistry can do to the human mind (a good place to start would be fundamentalist Christians who deny evolution and their counterparts in Islam and Judaism.

You mean like the terrorists known as the Stay Behind Network that were attacking Russia up until the 1950's supported by the USA and Great Britain. And insurgency by whom – neofascists? Is that who you want to support? No, an insurgency will only make things worse, and that wouldn't be good for either Russians or Ukrainians now would it?

It should read 'sensors that can detect humans', otherwise it seems to imply that either humans or human – as in cybernetic – components are being to do the sensing. The former would seem ridiculous (unless we're talking remote controlled), while the latter seems more like science fiction. That aside it seems superfluous to mention that it has sensors capable of detecting humans as it wouldn't be an effective weapon otherwise.

Same with sanctions, embargo, blockade and boycott.

And when the Germans occupied...? — And now that NATO and the EU occupy...?

@thegraffitiplayground1325 How can the USA be China's number 1 exporter is the Chinese make almost all the consumer goods? The Chinese possess both the raw materials and the manufacturing capacity that the USA lacks.

This is western propaganda propagated by the US government. In effect, cultural subversion or cultural imperialism. It's basically saying the West, led of course by the USA – the country that bombed and invaded Afghanistan, killed only God knows how many hundreds of thousands or millions of people, caused famine and widespread food insecurity and is still witholding food and refusing to give back Afghanistan's own money – is morally and culturally superior. We lost the war but look how morally superior we are; our hearts were in the right place and only the implementation was questionable.

You're asking for consistency from CNN?

Geronimo I'm sure felt the same way. Your point is?

@glep3570 the USA has biowarfare labs all over the world. Think it's not done the same? Corona, Ebola, AIDS.

Sometimes I think people forget that Hong Kong is an integral part of China and as such must obey the central government.

And how much will it all cost? How much more will it add to the war budget and take away from the peace budget? Can it be afforded? And when the next wonder weapon gets invented by the Chinese and the Russians combining the might of their economies and vast resources, what then... will the USA spend even more of its money on weapons to keep up with them until it goes bankrupt à la Soviet Union? How much money printing of a fiat currency can the USA do before hyperinflation sets in? Ask yourself these questions.

Just fit the tank with anti‐drone countermeasures like electromagnetic burst or jamming. For every measure there is a countermeasure.
