  1.  @rwjazz1299  And why is that? Russia and Germany are on the same continent so why should they not do more trade with each other and develop closer economic and political relations? Germany is a natural commercial hub for central and western Europe.

  2. "Insurmountable advantage"? In its near abroad the Russians would easily vanquish the USA and NATO in quick time. If Russia invaded Ukraine it would be like the German Blitzkrieg in Poland and France in 1939 and 1941, or the taking of Singapore and Malaya by the Japanese in 1942, with defeat in this case probably being achieved in a matter of days rather than weeks. Quite simply, a successful defence of Ukraine by NATO is militarily next to impossible. And no one is seriously contemplating it. Western propaganda on the issue is pure bravado.
