  1. You mean promoting 'representative' (i.e. indirect) democracy. Most tribal societies have forms of direct democracy that puts the western type to shame. Most, if not all, Western so‐called democracies are merely formal democracies in that they have the form but not the content of democracy, the nominally elected being several times removed from the electorate and generally under no direct influence by, or accountability to, them.

  2. And it must go beyond that because the USSR had all those things but was still destroyed. Overthrowing the USA and its allies or at least creating a group of countries that can draw their fire long enough for South East Asia as a whole, led by a China‐Japan‐India tetrachy, can reach a level of stability, cohesiveness and military‐economic power whereby it can take on the West and reduce it to impotence where it is no longer a threat and it is no longer in a position to force its political norms and sociocultural values on other peoples.
