  1. Neo‐liberalism is global and recognises no limit on its reach. For neo‐liberals China and Russia are impediments to their total domination of the world and only the threat of military defeat are keeping them in check.

  2. China is rapidly developing technologically and will soon be on a par with the USA in most areas where its relevant. And once it has reached parity it may even overtake the USA (and Europe) and become technologically superior.
