  1. Human beings like stability and traditionalism embodies that, as does conservativism. That said I think that there should be a cut-off point of between 40 and 60 for people to hold positions of political power. At the very least a quota system should be introduced to dilute significantly the number of old people who are involved in politics ranging from politicians to members of the judiciary, legislature, executive, armed forces and police.
