Will a digital currency still allow the United States to dominate the European Union and the world, or will it be just one powerful currency among two or three others? Will Europe Union and the USA create a single currency like the euro and create a dollar-preference area?

@zurinarctus1329 Probably because he wanted political and economic sovereignty for Libya and Africa and didn't want either Russia or China undermining that. He probably also wanted Libya to have the same currency dominance as the USA has with the Bretton Woods system. In the end he was too ambitious. Economic power not backed up by commensurate military power is very susceptible to being destroyed by countries that have both. Also, only by combining the aforementioned judiciously can you have political power and its political power that is what a country aspires to. Economic power and military power are the means, political power is the end.
