  2. ONE party, TWO factions! And that party is capitalist-corporatist. It cares only for society or the human beings within it only if the plutocracy created by it can make a profit or, through threat of revolution, are forced to make concessions. All modern parliamentary/congressional political systems are like this, especially if they use the first-past-the-post system of elections rather than proportional representation, which is what Britain and the United States have. So-called parliamentary/liberal democracy is like a plane on auto-pilot, unable to deal with major change or engage in major reform unless the economic elite decide it's in their interests and this is even more apparent if needed reform is constrained by (being a part of) the disfunctional, decaying, kleptocratic US empire whose elite hate real democracy with a vengeance.
