@Wiegraf Lol. Yugoslavia ring a bell?

@TorianTammas Don't underestimate them. The Germans did that and look where it got them.

@bogdansakhnyuk586 The USA having the effrontery to attack Russians on Russia's very doorstep through use of fascist and Islamicist proxies constitutes, I think, a very, very legitimate form of self‐defence on the part of the Russians. Even more so when you consider they may have been on the verge of committing a genocide (a real one this time, not the pretend ones that were supposedly committed by the Serbs in Kosovo, or that supposedly took place in Libya).

@djocharablaikan8601 Ethnic cleansing and localised massacres sure but I don't think it was genocide. UN investigators went in expecting to find mass graves but found nothing and went away empty handed. In other words the pretext for NATO bombing Yugoslavia was just that, a pretext. Like babies thrown out of incubators in Kuwait and WMD's, yellow cake and big tube guns in Iraq, sarin gas attacks in Syria and Viagra‐fuelled rape squads in Libya... all lies of the MSM.

@masterpwn3r And do you realise that the vast majority of the resources used to generate all that GDP comes from elsewhere (clue: the global South and the global East)?

@bogdansakhnyuk586 So, a war by proxy is not a war? The whole of the cold war was a NATO war by proxy and it lasted for the better part of 50 years (arguably still ongoing). And it was a war against Russia (the Soviet Union) and against the economic, political, social and ideological underpinnings of Russian society. It thus represented an existential threat. It now wages covert war against China. War doesn't have to be military; sanctions and embargoes are a form of war and one that definitely was aimed at Russia by NATO (the West).
