  2. People should look at the totality of the situation. The officer was given certain information, was given the address. He going on what he knew went to the address he was given. When the guy opened the door he had a gun pointing down. Now it takes zero effort to bring the gun up and shoot. Many times people with bad intentions keep gun pointed down in attempt to conceal it better. Action is faster then reaction. The officer had reasonable response given what he was told. Tragic? Yes it is. But not murder. He did not go to the door with the intent to kill anyone. He saw the gun a had reasonable justification to think he was going to be shot. For those whom say or think the officer should have waited for the gun to be pointed at you then put yourself in the officer’s situation. Are you going to wait to be shot at??? Just because he was black does not make this any more of a tragedy. Leave the race out out it. Funny how race is not mention if the victim is white and killed by a black person. The cop did not “ bust “ inti the apartment. The video clearly shows the cop was still outside of the apartment when he shot the guy. Stop with the false headlines!!!!
