  9. The engine lets it down though . It is a shame as it's quite a nice car but i just can't buy a car with so little power for that size body. It's the same engine in the Mazda 3 which is just pathetic.

  11. Did you see the 2018 Camry , it has quad tail pipes . They have to be joking :) . Do they think it's going to trick people into thinking it can keep up with a Kia Stinger GT :)

  14. That is a low range for a full electric car. Less power more range should be the focus for smart engineering. it doesn't matter how fast it is off the mark if you are stuck somewhere out of range of a charge and have to get it towed.

  16. I was the opposite, the front has Astin vibes but the rear looks almost like an old square Ferrari type design that doesn't suit the rest of the car. The interior is ok but nothing to write home about.

  17. pity they don't have good noise insulation though. Mazda 6 is one of the noisiest cars i have been in when you hit course roads.

  18. I am only looking at 2 cars at the moment . The Kia Stinger which is 0-60 in 4.9 seconds if you get the rear wheel drive and the Lexus RC350 F sport which is 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. When Mazda 6 can offer that come back me.

  26. The difference is you can keep one of these for 10 to 15 years plus and it will still drive like new. I don’t really like the newer headlight design of these though as the old triple beam LED just looked. Inch better. I’ve had the previous model which I have had for 7 years in F sport trim. I added the RCF rear centre console too which fits perfectly. That way you get 4 cup holders and you can easily put a small water bottle between the back seats and reach it from the drivers seat. Add an Invidia Quad exhaust and it really wakes up this V6 and the neighbourhood on a cold start lol. There are plenty of smart people out there that bought these while others that bought Euro cars are now regretting those decisions as they are money pits as they age.

  27. Well it's not the same car as it has been refined underneath as always happens over time. Lexus has never really been about fast cars anyway. They build safe , reliable comfortable cars you can easily keep for 10 years or more and if people don't appreciate that it's fine. There are other models that will break apart in a couple of years at more expensive prices you are welcome to.

  33. The older models are faster , the newer ones are more refined. I prefer the older models up to 2017 but I can see the appeal with newer quieter versions for some people. Mine has a quad Invidia exhaust and so it’s definitely not quiet lol. Lo do like that even the latest one is not bogged down with useless tech inside the cabin though. I hate large touch screens in cars and nanny tech telling you every 2 are going to crash when you are on a suburban street lol. I try not to wake up the neighbours too early on a cold morning.

  38. No but i read it's still nowhere near the Euro cars. Besides have my heart set on a Kia Stinger Gt now anyway . Can't see the point in a mazda with it's crappy 4 cylinder engine for that price when i can get a 6 Cylinder twin Turbo with far superior handling for not really all that much more at least in Australia.

  39. I don't need to do research it's a crappy 4 cylinder so why would i give two shits? I only drive 6 cylinders with around 200 kw or higher. If you can show me a Mazda 6 that has close to that then i'll take a look.Besides the Kia stinger i am looking to buy is a twin turbo 6 cylinder 8 speed so show me a Mazda 6 that can do 0-100 in 4.9 seconds you clown seeing you like bandying that word around. Is the Mazda 6 designed in Germany ? No so just go away with your crap.

  40. Oh originally i was just keen on seeing the new Camry as it at least has a V6 model but then realised this isn't the 2018 decent Camry they are bringing out. Agree about going too far. It's why i am still deciding on what car to get as i do get stuck in traffic alot just not a fan of the Mazda though, for one there are way too many of them around here and it's just not really a very good looking car. The wheels look terrible for a so called high end vehicle and the grille just doesn't suit the car either. I am sure it's a good car if you are just after a 4 cylinder run about but i am used to cars with close to 200kw or more power so it's just too underpowered for me. I'd get really bored with it quickly. I tend to get sick of cars in a year or two and look for something else.

  43. Best looker is subjective as that grille on the mazda looks like plastic fantastic , bloody awful. Why don't they offer a proper sports mesh grille like so many other manufacturers? However both cars are way too underpowered to be fun anyway. Unless Mazda brings back the turbo forget it. I still dont know why people keep saying the 6 is such a great looking car when it's butt ugly from the front.

  50. I’ll stick with my 2016 Lexus RWD V6 Coupe. I can’t stand any car where the entertainment screen is not properly built into the dash. This pop up iPad on it’s side look is disgusting and never should have been allowed. They are nothing but a massive distraction in the cabin and lead to more dangerous driving habits too. We should be aiming for less distractions in the cabin for the driver not more. Now sadly even Lexus use this crap design too.
