  2. That and the Black Bird have been my two favourite aircraft of all time perhaps besides the Red Baron Tri-wing :) . The Blackbird also had it's fair share of issues including leaking oil.

  4. This still happens too often around the world. Your docos are among the best i have seen. I always grab a bowl of noodles to settle in to watch one :). How you manage to say so much in such a short space of time is truly an artform many could learn from on Youtube.

The most beautiful airliner to ever exist though to be honest it wasn't just the crash that killed off the Concorde it just wasn't economically viable in a world of changing customer habits as they just couldn't put enough bums on seats so to speak. They continually lost money per flight compared to conventional planes. The Fire and crash gave them a convenient excuse to make it a dinosaur shortly after.

  7. It wasn't truly about that though. There is a really good doco all about why the Concorde was discontinued and it had little to do with the accident beyond public perception pushed into thinking that was the reason why. They played on that fear as a convenient excuse to ditch it.
